THE MISSION

Ankaoft is a IT consultant firm with a clear goal: to be perceived as a assisting platform for individuals or companies which wants to enhance their bussiness. The challenge was to create a sens of new brand that was different from the competition.

The most important part was to understand how to position Ankasoft differently. After the first user analysis and some searching, I realized that some points to be improved and gained attraction.

THE IMPACT

The founder was so happy with the final design. Now backend developer's process on going. I hope that I'm going to add some quantity datas on this area about how we increase the attraction  of our website and make profit when it is launched.

What is Ankasoft?

Akasoft is a IT Consultant Company and it  helps companies to automate and digitalise operations and implement the latest technologies. Although AnkaSoft website was designed without considering the user experience process.  

What was the goal?

Firstly, Ankasoft website was just a website to show compay's presece and was far away from the UX logic. The goal of the founder was not to build a simple website. He wanted a platform where companies or individuals can truly trust and accomplish their goal in an easy and fast way. So, my aim was redesign the process for AnkaSoft and recreate it’s website by increasing brand value, interaction with the users , IA and visual quality.

The process

PHASE 1 - RESEARCH AND STRATEGY

Firstly I had to understand the usability of website so I conducted interviews with 5 participants and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for. After that I had to sure of client’s expects and needs. In terms of the needs of increasing brand value and usability, with all interviews and competitive audit research feedbacks help me to understand that we had to rethink whole design process to create fully well thought out product.

Cool & different

I realised that Ankasoft should not look like the typical IT Consultant company. It had to be different, it had to really stand out.

Approachable

Ankasoft had to be a website where people easily find it and easily use it. So brand should be supported by some advertisements.

Trustful

Technological platform are  areas that people don't know much about. So that reason being trustful was one of the most important key point for us.

Easy to understand

If you are not a tech-savy you may not know some of the technicological terminologies. To be understandable I had to avoid complex design overall.

PHASE 2 - STARTING THE DESIGN

Working through a couple really preliminary sketches, ı realized some of the ideas and layouts that I was thinking of just wouldn't work. Not only was I able to quickly communicate some of the ideas, but I was also able to take them and spark more discussions as well as quickly filter the good and bad ideas out.

Not everything went smooth

There were lots of meetings and discussions during the process but they can help us iterating and improving our design.

PHASE 3 - HIGH FIDELITY PROTOTYPE

It is time to move on designing high fidelity prototype according to our all researches.

Success

AnkaSoft has not been launched yet and I am continuing to design some pages to improve but I learned a lot from process. The primary difficulty I had while designing this website was the task of creating a web brand perception that will increase its awareness and therefore the amount of profit. I feel that although there may be a better solution out there, I designed an experience that works well for most users.
